Cavaliers Connected is a 100% remote instruction program available to all CCPS students for the 2020-2021 school year. Parents/guardians of Carroll County High School students who wish to participate in the Cavaliers Connected for the second semester should complete the form below to register their student. Key points include: -- All CCHS students who wish to participate in CC must register using this form, even if he/she participated in CC during the 1st semester. -- We ask that you please complete this registration from on or before Monday, November 23rd. Early completion of the registration from will help ensure that the class registration process for your student flows smoothly. No applications will be considered after Monday, December 14th. -- Once a high school student enrolls in the Cavaliers Connected program, he/she is committed to the program for the duration of the semester, unless a member of the CCHS administrative team recommends he/she returns to in-person instruction due to inadequate performance. Tragic Loss of CCHS Students
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that a car accident claimed the lives of two of our students and another student sustained serious injuries. It is a sad day, and the coming days will be hard, too. Our community is tight and we ask that you keep all of the students involved in the wreck in your thoughts and prayers.
We also ask that you think of and pray for the families of the students and all of our students at CCHS. You can imagine their pain. Life is precious and when young people pass, it hurts even more. It is a sad day. In partnership with Skyline National Bank, we have set up a funeral expense fund where anyone can donate. You can write a check or deposit in person at any Skyline branch. When writing a check, make sure to put "CCHS Student Funeral Fund" in the memo. The address for the Hillsville branch is 419 S. Main Street, Hillsville, VA 24343.
